When you create an account we collect your name, email, and phone number. When you book or provide a service we collect booking details, location, photos, and payment method. We also collect usage data such as pages viewed and device type to improve the marketplace.
We use your information to operate the marketplace, facilitate bookings and payments, verify providers, show reviews and proof photos, send notifications, prevent fraud, and comply with legal obligations.
We share information between the client and provider involved in a booking so they can coordinate and complete the work. We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers (e.g. payment processors) under contract, or when required by law.
Live location is shared only during an active booking, only while the provider enables sharing, and stops on arrival or completion. We use it solely to show ETA to the client.
Before-and-after photos are uploaded to complete and verify work. They may be displayed on the provider's public portfolio linked to verified reviews. You control what you upload.
We keep your account data while your account is active. Booking and review data is retained to maintain the trust and reputation system. You may request deletion of your account; some records may be retained to comply with legal obligations or protect marketplace integrity.
You may access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and opt out of analytics cookies, through the app or by contacting support. Residents of certain states may have additional rights under applicable privacy law.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
VisibleHand is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
We may update this policy from time to time and will notify users of material changes through the app.
